Set right in the heart of town, the restaurant is all about cutting-edge modern design, a floating mezzanine overlooks the buzzing bar, backed up by unobtrusive service and a wittily retro menu. The glassy courtyard is a haven of calm in the frantic city, while BedRoom, the late night bar, never seems to stop. Modern reworkings of favourite dishes from the 1970's include, for instance, starter of prawn and avocado cocktail, tempura prawns with a tower of diced avocado and crisp parsnip. Same goes for ham and pineapple, chow mein, and all the others. Great vibe: young, smart and out to party. DJ at weekends. Bar has spirits by the bottle.

The private dining room plus a series of spaces within the restaurant and its courtyard can accommodate parties from an intimate 18 to 550. BedRoom, the hideaway cocktail lounge with its purple velvet and romantic candles, is recognised as one of the most stylish bars in the kingdom, and can be hired privately for unforgettable events. Menu includes starter of red mullet and chorizo fishcake, main course of Gressingham duck breast a l'orange, and fab little fruit jellies for pudding.

A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 10 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person
