Generous souls that we are, we’ve decided to reveal this hidden Battersea gem so that you too can experience the high-class food, live jazz and special ambience. A smart neighbourhood restaurant, Papiyon Brasserie’s splits into three sections, the main area by the bar where regulars from SW London flock to dine on Yacine Lebsari’s excellent French/Italian cuisine. Firm favourites are the delicious trio of mushroom tartlet starter; the very special black (dyed with squid ink) linguine; wonderful King scallops; prime Scotch fillet steaks and an exquisite lambshank – all hand-selected daily by Lebsari at London’s finest food markets. The best table is 21, directly in front of a large tank of beautiful tropical fish. A wonderful place. Jazz nights every other Friday & Saturday - starting Fri 24 Jun.

Particularly suited to large corporate and private parties, even weddings, Papiyon Brasserie can comfortably fit 90 people between its four attractive walls. The restaurant itself has 50 covers, while the remainder can be accommodated in the function area at the back. If you’re hiring the place exclusively, then the room can be arranged however you want it. Menu choices include a la carte, set, drinks and children’s (with a high-chair to boot). For all groups of 10 and more the food must be pre-ordered. The smart metallic bar sets an attractive scene for pre and post meal drinks. Failing that, bring your own bottle (though there is a corkage charge). Air-conditioned. Jazz nights every other Friday & Saturday - starting Fri 24 Jun.

Please note due to an Elvis Presley event on Aug 20th 2005 there will only be one menu. This will be at a cost of £30 per person

A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 6 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £5 per person
