As you would imagine, The River Room has magnificent views of the EmbankmentGardens and the mighty Thames beyond, creating a memorable backdrop for yourparty or event. The room itself has been refurbished and is a bright, adaptable space, smart and modern, with all the facilities you would require for large business presentations or launches, and all the warmth and comfort you would want for parties and private celebrations. It accommodates up to 200 seated or 350 standing. The Savoy has a team who will help you make this a perfect event, from food to flowers. The excellent menus are underthe direction of starry Maitre Chef des Cuisines Georg Fuchs. Dishes may include starter of warm salad of lemon sole fillet with a tomato and tarragon dip, main course of fillet of lamb in a puff pastry crust with roast potatoes and spinach puree glazed with cheese, followed by pudding ofred wine poached pear gratinated with burnt orange ice cream, the Savoy's own blend of coffee and perfect petit fours. The choice of wines is broad and rewarding and the service near faultless.
