Deep in Covent Garden touristland, the Boulevard has managed to attract a covey of regulars who enjoy the various zones. The bar area is relaxed and friendly, the restaurant and upstairs are warm and informal, while downstairs rocks with party atmosphere. Modern European cuisine includes seafood risotto and roasted breast of duck with peach and barbecue sauce and green bean and coco bean casserole. Pre-theatre menu available, but you may like the atmosphere so much you won't want to leave.

The decor is uptown bistro, Frenchish without being twee, with lots of mirrors and cane chairs. Every type of party is welcome, from business meals to crazy hens and wild stags.What's cooking?Modern European, but the management will do almost anything the customer wants. Try starter of Goats cheese and potato gateau with tomato and rocket, main course of Bourbon glazed ham with mash and herb sauce, and pud of very trad Creme brulee. The Finger Buffet Menu is a steal from £5 perperson, and includes Barbecue baked chicken wings, Cocktail sausage rolls,and Mini fishcakes with lemon and chilli dip.

There is a cover charge of £1.50 per diner for bread and dips.
